Rome Web quest You will need a partner, headphones and a downloaded copy of the web quest document to begin. Work together on one copy of the document. You do not each need to turn in a copy. Our last unit of the year will be on Ancient Rome. We will start with a mapping assignment and then continue with a web quest for the final week and a half of instruction. Tuesday/Wednesday Use the map provided below to complete the mapping assignment. Projects are due on March 28 for blocks 3 and 4, and on March 29 for blocks 5, 6, and 7. Tuesday/Wednesday will be the final day to work on our projects in class. The rest will need to be completed on your own time. Monday Today students worked on the following assignments in order: 1. Reteach/study for Hinduism/Buddhism quiz (if you did not pass the first try) make-up quiz is during AST on Tuesday. 2. Complete India current events assignment. 3. Research for China Inventions project. HW: China Invention Project Tuesday/Wednesday Today we are spending our final day researching in the library for our China Invention projects. HW: China Invention Project Thursday/Friday Today we completed packet page 6 on the Shang Dynasty and page 7 on the Zhou Dynasty. HW: complete Cornell notes on page 8 of the packet. Include at least 4 questions Tuesday/Wednesday Today we completed received our Ancient China Pkt and completed pages 4-5. HW: Complete Vocab Card 6 (lords, peasants, ethics, Great Wall, Silk Road, Diffusion) Monday Today we had a reteach of Indian geography. We also chose an India article to fill out a graphic organizer. Thursday/Friday Today we completed India packet pages 1-3. HW- Completed Ancient India packets are due Monday! Tuesday/Wednesday Today we took our Buddhism/Hinduism Quiz, completed our Edicts of Ashoka presentations (packet pages 17-18). HW: Complete pages 8-9 in the India packet Thursday/Friday Today we reviewed the basic Hindu Beliefs and began reading about the life of Siddhartha Gautama in the Bhuddhism Reading packet. HW: Complete pages 12-13 in the India Packet Week 22, January 30- February 31/31/2017 Thursday/Friday Today we completed our Indian Geography lessons and took a map quiz. HW: Packet pages 4-7 should have been omplete when entering class. If they are not done they need to be completed over the weekend for late credit. Tuesday/Wednesday Today we learned about the geography. We completed pages 4-5 in our Ancient India packet and began pages 6-7. HW: complete pages 6-7 in the India Packet using the Chapter 13 packet.Geography test on Thursday/Friday. Monday, Today the class was split into two groups. Those that passed their test on Friday annotated and answered discussion questions on a current event article. Those that earned lower than a 'C' on their test had a reteach activity and took a second quiz (if passed their test from Friday was raised by one letter grade).
